About Me

For the tagline of this blog, I chose the following quote: “We live in a box of space and time. Movies are windows in its walls.” These are not my words, much as I’d love to take credit for them. They are Roger Ebert’s words, and they are brilliant in their simplicity and their deadly accuracy. We live our own lives, and view everything through our own perspective…but what is it like to step into someone else’s life and see things through their perspective? Movies are one way, maybe the best way, of giving us that experience.

I’m not a movie expert, but I am an avid movie lover, and have been all my life. I hope I can provide some small amount of insight into the world of film, seen through my perspective. I will try to do so with as much empathy as possible.
